Expansion of digital broadcasting in Odesa region

Since October 1, 2009 by facilities of the Odessa Regional Radio Television Transmitting Center (RRTTC) of BRT Concern the coverage of the territory with digital terrestrial on-air television signal has been expanded in Odessa region. The broadcasting was started in two more zones of single-frequency broadcasting, No 63 and No73.

Odessa region (coverage zone № 73) broadcasting is realized on 27 TV channel:
- 2 кW transmitter Odesa town
- 100 W transmitter Berezivka town
Odessa region (coverage zone № 63) broadcasting is realized on 27 TV channel:
- 450 W transmitter Zhovten village
- 20 W transmitter Rozdilna town
- 450 W transmitter Zhovten village
- 20 W transmitter Rozdilna town
In Odessa and Rozdilna the signal goes via optical fiber communications lines. In Zhovten and Berezivka towns the signal is received by microwave links.
